The BronxWorks E. Roberts Moore Older Adult Center will be closed Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20. Seniors are welcome to visit any other BronxWorks Older Adult Centers across the Bronx. For more information, click here.

Due to ongoing capital improvements at the BronxWorks Carolyn McLaughlin Community Center, the main entrance at 1130 Grand Concourse is closed. All guests, visitors and staff should use the accessible entrance located in the rear of the building through the parking lot on Carroll Place. Please exercise caution when entering and exiting the parking lot.

Elder Abuse

BronxWorks encourages older adults who may be victims of elder abuse to seek assistance, whether the abuse is physical, emotional, verbal, or financial.

The BronxWorks Older Adult Services department can assist seniors who are experiencing any type of elder abuse. Assistance includes obtaining restraining orders as well as other resources. As needed, BronxWorks will refer individuals to obtain legal counsel and connect them with the police, the Bronx District Attorney’s office, and Adult Protective Services.
