Infant Mortality Reduction
The Infant Mortality Reduction program aims to decrease infant mortality rates in the Bronx by providing cooking classes and demonstrations that offer culinary skill training and nutrition education. At the conclusion of each class, participants receive an incentive of a featured grocery bag or the equivalent with ingredients from the recipe. This program offers workshops in positive body image, self-care, stress management, and breastfeeding.
