Crime Victims Law Unit

The BronxWorks Crime Victims Unit provides free legal services to individuals residing in New York State who are innocent victims of crime and whose legal issues arise from their victimization.

The unit specializes in assisting victims through the criminal justice process, offering legal support for:

  • Financial crimes, sexual crimes, elder abuse, and identity theft.
  • Immigration matters, including U Visas, T Visas, and VAWA applications.
  • Orders of protection and victim compensation claims.

This unit ensures victims are supported at every stage of the legal process, from reporting crimes to pursuing justice and recovery.
