BronxWorks is excited once again to be a Charity Partner for the TCS New York City Marathon!
Since 2009, BronxWorks has fielded a team of runners for the TCS New York City Marathon. Each year, #TeamBronxWorks raises money for BronxWorks Children & Youth programs. Funds have gone toward:
After-school programs and summer day camps for low-income families, benefiting both children ages 4-14 and working parents
Programs for teens to successfully navigate the challenges of adolescence as well as transitioning to high school
College Prep workshops, giving Bronx youth access to the benefits of higher education for a brighter future
This year, each #TeamBronxWorks runner commits to raising a minimum of $3,000 by Race Day, Sunday, November 3, 2024, with $750 raised by Friday, August 30 to guarantee their spot. Runners must also pay a registration fee directly to NYRR when they register to run. Registration fee is $255 for NYRR members and $315 for non-members.
When you run with #TeamBronxWorks, you get:
Guaranteed entry to the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon
A personal GiveSmart fundraising page
A virtual meet & greet with the other runners and BronxWorks staff
A shirt showing off your BronxWorks pride!
We are no longer accepting runners for the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon.
