Infant Mortality Reduction

The Infant Mortality Reduction program aims to decrease infant mortality rates in the Bronx by providing cooking classes and demonstrations that offer culinary skill training and nutrition education. At the conclusion of each class, participants receive a featured grocery item needed to prepare each recipe.

Maternal Infant Health

Funded through the New York City Department of Housing and Public Health Solutions, this program aims to increase health equity and education for women and mothers to improve birth outcomes in the Bronx. This program offers curriculums that include Nutrition 101, Processed vs. Whole Foods, Diabetes: What you need to know, Positive Body Image, Stress Management, Safe Sleep, and Breastfeeding.
