New York City has issued a heat advisory from Tuesday, May 19, 11am, through Wednesday, May 20. If possible, stay out of the sun and stay in air conditioning. Avoid strenuous activity and exercise. Keep children and pets inside. Drink plenty of water. If you have signs of heat stroke, seek medical attention immediately.

Voting Information For Our Bronx Neighbors

Election Season 2026 is under way! In the Bronx, offices in the U.S. House of Representatives, state senate and assembly, and New York Governor are up for election, as well as some other local seats.

Important Dates

New York Primary Day is Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Make your party’s choice for U.S. House of RepresentativesState AssemblyState Senate, and Governor of New York. Please note, you must be a registered member of a political party to vote in the Primary in New York.

  • Voter registration deadline to vote in the Primary is Saturday, June 13.
  • Early voting runs June 13 – 21. Learn more.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Make your choice for U.S. House of RepresentativesState AssemblyState Senate, and Governor of New York, as well as other local offices depending where you live. There may also be ballot proposals on the back side of your ballot, so be sure to flip your ballot.

  • Voter registration deadline is Saturday, October 24.
  • Early voting runs October 24 – November 1. Learn more.

When you vote in primary and special elections, you will have the option to rank candidates in the order you like. You do not have to rank all candidates.
