The BronxWorks Workforce Development Department is excited to announce the new BronxWorks Work Readiness Training Program.

The Work Readiness Training Program aims to support adults ages 18-64 who are:

  • unemployed (actively seeking work but not yet employed)
  • under-employed (working part-time or intermittently but seeking full-time employment)
  • not currently in the workforce but seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce

The goal of the program is to teach participants the workplace skills that employers value to ensure long-term workplace success. Through comprehensive training and coaching, the program aims to:

  • ensure participants master essential professional workplace skills like work ethic, communication, teamwork, problem solving, leadership, interpersonal skills, and more
  • support participants in securing full-time or part-time employment after the program
  • provide job retention support

Participants will also receive incentives as they reach each program milestone.

If you have any questions, please contact Betsamy Hernandez, Outreach Specialist, at behernandez@bronxworks.org or 929.819.8049.

*Please note: You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. to participate in this program.*
