The BronxWorks Workforce Development Department is excited to announce the new BronxWorks Work Readiness Training Program.
The Work Readiness Training Program aims to support adults ages 18-64 who are:
- unemployed (actively seeking work but not yet employed)
- under-employed (working part-time or intermittently but seeking full-time employment)
- not currently in the workforce but seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce
The goal of the program is to teach participants the workplace skills that employers value to ensure long-term workplace success. Through comprehensive training and coaching, the program aims to:
- ensure participants master essential professional workplace skills like work ethic, communication, teamwork, problem solving, leadership, interpersonal skills, and more
- support participants in securing full-time or part-time employment after the program
- provide job retention support
Participants will also receive incentives as they reach each program milestone.
We hope you can join our Information Session where you can learn more about the program, available services, and how to register.
