BronxWorks’ Positive Living Department is seeking volunteers to help with its Food and Nutrition Program for people living with HIV/AIDS. Volunteers can help with serving lunch and/or dinner, or help out in our food pantry. There are also other volunteer opportunities within our Positive Living Department, based on experience and interests. BronxWorks is a participating agency in the city’s conditional cash transfer program. It is a comprehensive, conditional-cash-transfer program that offers reward payments to families completing activities related to health, education, and work. Families must successfully accomplish activities that build their skills and education or promote good health. The program seeks volunteers interested in working with families and to help support this rewarding initiative.
