The ASPCA Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic came to the BronxWorks Community Center at 1130 Grand Concourse on April 30th.  Twenty-five local dogs and cats got free spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and other veterinary services.

The Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic travels to neighborhoods with limited access to veterinary care and animal care education.  Its mission is to reduce the overpopulation of animals that causes so many unwanted cats and dogs to be placed in shelters or euthanized.  Spayed and neutered pets also tend to lead longer, healthier lives.
